Donations in Lieu of Flowers
Many people often ask their family and friends to make donations to MTW Hospitals Charity as an alternative to them sending floral tributes in memory of a loved one. We can provide donation envelopes that can be distributed at the service. Your funeral director will also be able to advise you. Bereavement Support
MTW Hospitals Charity recognises that bereavement touches everyone differently, and that grief can be experienced in many ways. You may find comfort in reaching out to family and friends for support during this time. We also understand the importance of celebrating the life of someone who is no longer with us. Throughout the year, we hold remembrance events that bring people together to honour loved ones, share memories and find connection within the community. Setting up a Tribute Fund
Some friends and family might be unable to attend the funeral service or memorial service for your loved one. You can help them to feel connected and join you in honouring their life by setting up an online Funeral Collection Tribute Page. You can collect donations, raise money and if you undertake a sponsored challenge or event in their memory in future, you can easily link it to your online tribute fund.

Setting up a Tribute Fund in memory of a loved one is free, simple and only takes a few minutes with very little computer experience. Once you have set up your Tribute Fund you can share it with your family and friends, allowing them to contribute their photography and memories. Any donations that are generously made in memory of your loved one will automatically come directly to MTW Hospitals Charity.
