In the past 12 months, MTW Hospitals Charity has invested over £520,000 in projects that are transforming care across our hospitals, including:
Digital windows for the Intensive Care Unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, surrounding critically ill patients with calming light and a sense of connection to the outside world.
An IBD peer support group for young gastroenterology patients, giving children the confidence, friendship and freedom to enjoy the everyday moments they deserve.
Soothing wall artwork at the Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre to ease anxiety and help patients to feel calmer as they prepare for surgery.
Safety pods for our Emergency Departments, offering vulnerable patients a safe, reassuring space during moments of distress.
Noise‑cancelling headsets for teams in our Care Co‑ordination Centre, helping staff stay focused and supported as they make vital decisions for patients every day.
